As usual, on Friday we will have lunch available from the hotel for Writer’s Workshop attendees, Albacon Staff who are setting up, and any Albacon attendees who happen to arrive early. This year we are being less formal, with box lunches consisting of:
- Sandwich or Wrap
- Bottled Water
Sandwich choices are:
- Ham & Cheese
- Tuna Fish
- Roast Beef
- Vegetarian Vegetable
Cost is $15 per lunch and payment and choices are due at the Albacon Registration Desk by 10 AM Friday morning. If you would like to pre-order, please fill out the following form and stop by Registration to pay on Friday.
Information about the Hotel’s Shuttle Bus Service has been posted to the site. Please note that there are limitations to the Shuttle service. See the Shuttle Bus Service page for details and to request a Shuttle pickup. You need to request Shuttle service in advance.

In honor of the film’s 50th Anniversary, Albacon will be doing a special presentation of The Night of the Living Dead with a panel discussion and a showing of the movie (on film, not video). See the classic the way it was intended to see!
The zombies begin to shamble on Saturday night starting at 7 pm.
Some of the planned films can be found under the “Movie Program” tab. They include “Valley of the Gwangi,” “Dr. Cyclops,” and “The Phantom Creeps.” All in 16mm film!
We’re happy to announce that Movie Mike will attending Albacon with a full program of classic movies — on film, the way they were meant to be seen.
